What you need to know about us
We are Athora Netherlands, an insurance company with the well-known brands Zwitserleven and Reaal. We are mainly involved in pensions and life insurance in the Dutch market. We are part of a European group with offices in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany and Italy. We are a strong company with over one million customers and we want to grow into one of the most important players in the rapidly changing pension market in the coming years. That is why we are looking for people who are not afraid of change, who are getting things done, who have the ambition to achieve results and who therefore know how to get the best out of themselves and their team. Smarter together, we call it.

Independent, analytically strong, and proactive
Key Competencies:
Analytical Skills: You can comprehend complex financial data, identify relationships, and translate them into clear insights—whether you are working with a spreadsheet or an AI model.
Independence: You proactively and independently work on assignments and know when to consult with colleagues. You are also willing to use tools or technologies to work more efficiently.
Collaboration: You can effectively collaborate with colleagues both within and outside the team, even with strong personalities. You know when to brainstorm and when to listen.
Result Orientation: You keep the goal in mind, work systematically, and deliver high-quality output within the agreed timeframe. You think in solutions, not problems.
Digital Skills and Innovation: You have an affinity for data, Excel, and programming, and you are open to new technologies such as AI. If you already use ChatGPT to work smarter, you will fit perfectly into our team.
What do you get from us?
You get about 900 colleagues who all think they work for a special company. You will have the opportunity to make an important contribution to the socially relevant theme of pensions. We make sure that your pension is well taken care of so you can enjoy a carefree retirement.
You will have the opportunity to really make a difference when it comes to sustainability, because we have a leading role in our business operations and investments for years. Of course, you will get a (flexible) workplace at one of our offices that are among the best 7% in the world. And because you also work regularly from home, you will receive a budget to set up your home office properly.
In exchange for your commitment, talent and skills, next to your salary plus a holiday allowance and a thirteenth month, you will receive 27 vacation days (with a 36-hour contract) and a public transport card or travel allowance for the days you come to the office. And, not unimportantly, we think, you will receive a training budget of 1,000 euros every year, so that you can continue to develop yourself. This gives you the opportunity to grow, within our company or beyond.
Salary per month: based on CLA scale 9, the range is € 0,00 to € 0,00 based on 36 hours.
